first timer her so be patient. i was able to copy ghost recon to the virtual drive, install it and even have icon on desktop but when i click to play i get a message from securom saying that the game won't play without the origional disk/ or with the emulator software. am i stupid? or is there something else i need to try? any help is greatly appreciated.

how did you created your image? Which settings did you use
and which application? -
image was pulled from disc using winrar? and archieved then mounted to virt. drive. it seemed to install properly but now when i hit the icon i keep getting a securom message saying that their games only play with the origional disc and that the emulator won't work on it.Comment

this is merely bullshit. Since when is WinRAR an IMAGE-
creator?
Before I discuss it to death here and waste your time:
please re-create the image with Alcohol 120%. You MUST USE
an ORIGINAL - CD to create the image!!!!!! Everything else is:
1) illegal (and requests here lead to immediate ban)
2) not possible and even IF its possible we won't tell you how.
but I guess you have indeed the ORIGINAL disk and just mixed
something up here, right?
And rest assured: it works, I play the game for myself from
image and it works flawlessly!Comment
