  • Problem playing Oblivion.

    Hi, I was able to run Elderscrolls 4 : Oblivion a few days ago using daemon tools, but just recently its been giving me the error "Unable to mount image. Unable to access file." Anyone know what the problem might be? Not a comp expert so im really lost here. =/ And i miss playing oblivion. Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

    How did you create the image (program and settings) ?
    WHat image file format do you use (iso,mds,bin/cue) ?

      you could use your original disk to play

      I think at Oblivion it doesn't mather what kind of file format he used, because Oblivion only has simple CD-Checks, it should also work with .iso

      @Arkane

      when was the last time you could start Oblivion with the Image and what did you change since then?

        Well im not exactly sure how it was made because my friend mike made it for me before he went joined the army cause he wanted me to try out the game, but didnt want his CD's getting messed up by some freak accedent. Im pretty sure he used Alcohol 120% though because i remember him talkin to me about that program. And the image files (theres two) are .mdf and .mds. The .mdf one is 4,386,496kb and the .mds is 5kb. Don't know if that will help in anyway but there it is. Um lets see... the last time I was able to play it was about... 3, maybe 4 days. Well i was having a problem with my computer running slow so I reformated. The game worked fine for a day after that and then for some reason decided to stop working on me and gave me that error. If this helps when i tried to copy and paste the file(s) to my desktop it would give me a error also, and then give me something about a reduncy check or something like that. Anyway, thank you.
