I had a copy of SpellForce 2 from a frd of mine. I installed it and run the mini-image w/ DT4.03 and it worked fine, except for the frequent crashes.
I updated the game w/ the "DVD-Starforce (68MB)" patch, 1 out of 3 choices from the site, then its nightmare!
The protection.exe check my disc (the mini-image) and it no longer works. I tried to reinstall the game but it still won't work.
Is there any solution to this? To either bypass the starforce protect, or to clear the patch record so that AT LEAST I would be able to play the old-&-crashy version? I've did some reading on this forum and looks like it's unlikely that I can bypass the new starforce, I wanna at least clear it with the game and reinstall.
