Cannot read from the specified device error

I'm trying to install Photoshop CS2, and right after it finishes configuring windows installer, it brings up the error message in the title and then forces you to quit the program. I have been able to install it on several other computers including this one (which had it's hard drive fail), but it doesn't seem to be working.

A solution or workaround for this would be appreciated.

Does it do the same when installing from the original disc?

No, this is a copy that I've downloaded from ISOHunt. It installed successfully on this computer and others, it just strangely won't work now.
