Why doesen't my battlefield 2 game start? I have emulated cd, and its visible virtually in cd drive, but it says it needs cd when I try starting, (bf2 v.1.4)

How did you create the image (program and settings used)?

And be a little patient - the forum is moderated, so please don't double/cross post.

Hide drives with Safedisc 4 Hider 1.1 and then start game.

If you don't have a backup already, you cannot create one if your disc doesn't work anymore. Contact the game publisher and check if they offer any way to get a new CD if yours is broken.

Care to elaborate further on what steps exactly you took to create the BF2 image?

To make image, I just mounted up the .exe file gotten after game was installed, is that the correct file to mount up, or must I create an image? But that, I don't know how to do.
(Also, I'm not able to get new disk )
