How did this get past moderation?! -NetSoerfer

I installed Caesar IV (Team CloneCD release) by mounting it with Daemon Tools. After this I used SecuROM_loader v1.2 to launch it (asr.exe -r "C:\Games\Caesar IV\CaesarIV.exe").

This gives a dialog where it says:
"A required security module can not be activated.
This program can not be executed (12004). "

Anyone got a solution to this problem?


Btw. When I used the asr.exe I got a dialog where I had to choose the CaesarIV.exe file. I thought this would be automatically.

I can't say I've run into this problem before, but maybe I can help anyway. Here are the detailed instructions for solving this problem.

1. Drive or obtain ride to store
2. Find and retrieve copy of game
3. ***IMPORTANT*** Purchase game
4. Take home and remove from packaging
5. Insert in drive and use Alcohol to make a copy (alternatively, simply play from the original disc)

I hope those directions aren't too confusing. If you need more help, just let me know. I'm always available...except when I'm not.
