Wont install

I've been running daemon tools for a long time now and use softdisc 2.52 to mount my images, i've always got on fine with it and its worked well. Over the last week or so my virtual drive in softdisc hasnt been present. Therefore today I have uninstall both softdisc and daemon tools.

I've installed softdisc 2.53 easily enough but when i try and install Daemon tools it gives the following error message

"some driver has invalid name or conflicts with other file or service in system. Please choose other driver names or make sure you have rebooted after removal of software using the same names"

can anyone help ???
