Upon searching for solutions to the infamous Warcraft III 'Please insert CD' snag, I commonly found a procedure regarding using Alcohol 120% to create an image using a SecuROM profile. However, this only applies if you indeed have the original CD.
I have an idea, but I'm not sure if it will work. My gut tells me it won't, but I'm not positive. Is it possible to burn a CD using a downloaded image, and then use Alcohol 120% to re-image it using the SecuROM profile?
I don't think it will work, being as how the image is false (lacking the SecuROM profile), and so any derivative of it would not contain the SecuROM profile to be extracted and emulated as in the original CD.
I may just have to borrow my friend's CD...
