I recently installed FFVII disk 1 from E:\ into my C:\Program Files\, the installation went alright. I also installed the DirectX and DirectShow provided by the CD.
I then used CloneCD 5.2.9.1 to create an image of the CD and mounted it into H:\ using Daemon Tools 4.06HE. After that I changed the registry of FF7 DataDrive from E:\ to H:\..
I thought this should be it but when I clicked ff7.exe, I'm still prompted for disk 1, 2 or 3.. can anyone tell me where I have gone wrong or missed some steps?
I have tried numerous patches and even using Alcohol 120% doesn't seem to work... Furthermore I'm not sure which Datatype should I use, I know the copy protection is "CD check", but I can't find it in the droplist when I tried to make an image..
I also read about ISO images but how do I go about making them? Sorry I'm a noob in these ><
