Installed daemon on my mates computer

i downloaded footy manager onto my mates computer using torrents, then i downloaded winzip and then daemon tools from download.com. the daemon tools seemed to be installing ok, then it asked to restart to make the changes work or somwethin, it restarted but then kept restarting, and now when u load it up it goesonto the screen where the option are, start in safe mode, go to last configuration etc, but if u go on one of them it just freezes. and im not being funny but downloading things off download.com is not really bad, its a trusted site, but im getting the blame off his ma for breaking the computer, when really i did nothing different than ive done on my own to at home
