ok so my cd/dvd drive broke the other day and im lookin to get a new one next week, and all i want to do in the meantime is play my game (halo) and seeing as i cant use the disk i thought id download an image file and mount it with daemon tools, anyway i have a IMg file and an ISO. file and neither of them seem to work, i have it set to have 1 virtual drive and i go mount image select the file and then nothing happens. theres no new drive when i open "my computer" and it hasnt given it a letter for the drive when i look in daemon tools.
what's wrong?
is it because my dvd drive is broke that i cant mount the image?
