Wtf Adware/spyware !!!!

This is bullshit.......
I downloaded Daemon tools a much loved little program i have been using for years.....

I installed, got to the adware toolbar search option, i unchecked the box as i didnt want this kinda spyware on my system... I stopped installing at the next window and came to forums.

Read posts saying if you didnt want to install said spyware dont check box and install.......so i carried on with the insallation...

and bingo, i get redirected to whenU website after install.

This spyware is now installed happily on my system, had to go into control panel add remove and manually uninstall.

I'll be deleting DT off my system now....

Atfer years of using DT with no problems i finally have to say bye bye, not installing a virtual drive like DT when i can get something just as good WITHOUT the spyware bullshit.

OH AND FACT....
if you just uncheck the install whenU box during the install of DT you will still get whenU on your system.

if you want this kinda browser hijacking software on your system install the new DT (DT is hijacking software that comes with a virtual drive...lol)

I'll not be returning to this site again, long gone are the days DT was for the people by the people (its turned into a mini microsoft now, and we all now how bollocks there software is)

MY HONEST OPINION...
this post will prolly be deleted by an admin before to long but in my opinion dont even think about installing this software now......(it doesnt do what is says on the tin)

its just a fancy spyware program with a virtual drive to make you want it.....lol

DT = bad news now.......

was such a nice little reliable program too, such a same the devs are nothing but greedy little fucks...

do a google search for MSN PLUS that comes with the google search bar and an option for you NOT to give support when installing and guess what.......it doesnt install the search bar

DT should have used this kinda installing option, people would feel alot safer, i tried 3 times to install without the search bar and each time it was installed.

My advice use a different VD program, lots out there now, most are new small and clean.

DT sucks shite now.....

yeah its impossible to install DT without installing the WHENU crap too, News flash-DT turn into a mini microsoft.

What annoys me is its us....the plebs that have talked about DT recommended it to our friends etc.... that have given you the reputation you have, I don't think anyone would be instrested in paying you to advertise in your software if no one ever used it and anyone that did thought it was crap..

Guess what, thats what people time and time again are gonna be saying about DT from now on....lol

Way to go DT.....Bang a much needed good piece of kit together like DT, let it be advertise in the best way possible (word of mouth) then sell yourselves and US out cheaply (althought i wouldnt think its cheap for you in reality)
by forcing ppl to install adware/spyware on their systems so you can give up working in the afternoons...

LOTS OF VD's OUT THERE NOW, ITS NOT LIKE THE EARLY DAYS OF DT, INSTALL SOMETHING YOU KNOW IS CLEAN FROM THE GET GO, OR AT LEAST SOMETHING THAT YOU CAN STOP FROM INSTALL THE SPYWARE

Dont think it has anything to do with reading, i read it, tried 3 times to install without the searchbar saveU stuff being installed and everytime i manually had to uninstall it from add/remove after install...lol

I for 1 will be telling people what DT is like now and recommending them not to use it now.

All your doing is stamping on the very people (us plebs) that gave you the good rep...

if you alienate your customer/user dont expect them to stay a customer for long...but if you give them sweets they'll stay forever

Lets face it would we all still be using windows if there was a decent alternative that supported our software requirements?

Sort it out DT or you'll lose your rep and no one will wanna advertise with you......lol (rocket science!!)
