Hi,
Ive had a few problems with daemon tools on this laptop. I had the 'internal somethingorother' error where i couldnt install. i found the forums and found the solution quickly!
However now, when ever i mount an iso, i can play it once and then after i cant play it a second time without a reboot.
I have my warcraft 3 RoC and TFT cd's mounted (usually only the tft cd) i lost my cd's (one got smashed and the other i believe a friend holds when he reinstalled). So i havnt tried (yet) to just try running off the real drive.
Anyway there isnt much to say, after playing TFT once, i quit out and if its in the same restart of the computer, it says the cd isnt in the drive. If i reboot, it loads fine for one use, and then again i cant use it after i quit. So ive taken to starting wc3 at the start of the day and not quitting, but this isnt exactly ideal.
A housemate said he had a similar problem and instead turned on all options with daemontools but that didnt help me. All the copy protection options ive tried (just to see if it maybe changed a behaviour somehow) but nothing.
Im kind of out of ideas, has anyone found this problem too? Or know of a solution?
Im running on a laptop
dualcore 2ghz beast (i love my laptop)
vista home premium x86 (32bit of course)
what else, it had a dvd rw on it.. and 2gb ram.. but i dont know what else to say that really applies.
thanks,
Skythra
