Help with psx iso.

I'm a total idiot when it comes to this, so i;m pretty much going to need to be lead to the answer with breadcrumbs. =_=

I'm trying to create a psx disc that will work on a (modded) ps1.
The game i'm trying to create a disk from is Silent Hill.

Of course, i'm using Daemon tools to mount the image, and alcohol 120% to create the disc.

The problem: I throw in the disc, hit the switch, and the pretty white screen with the sony logo flickers across my T.V. before heading too the psx menu.


Any help is.... Well, helpful.

quite strange that, how did u make the image? and why mount a playstation image in a pc.. makes absolutely 0 sense...
