Hey, i downloaded and installed the daemontools download onto my pc, however, after restarting the BSOD started occuring constantly, it would load me onto my desktop for about 1 minute before 'Driver installations' would take action, i tried looking for the updater in task manager, but however fast i tried it would restart before me. Ofcourse, I tried in safemode - but it restarted even faster, last known good configuration doesnt work either.
When i clicked on the popup 'Driver installation' it was searching for PnP Bios Extention. After this installation begins my pc bluescreens.
Im running on Windows Vista Ultimate, but i uh, dont have the discs
so i cant try system recovery with them.
Iv realised that this is a compatibility problem for vista, and so it must BSOD.
Here are the error messages iv been getting on my BSOD's...
STOP: 0x0000007E (0x0000005,0x82036F72,0x8ABA3964,0x8ABA3660)
- This is the normal error message that keeps occuring
However, i got this error message once... 0.o
Win32k.sys address 8F7B8CD4 base at 8F600000, datestamp 45d3cc1d
I thought the only way to fix this was to take out my HD and put it into a different pc as the slave, then reinstalling Windows Vista back onto my HD, But would this affect masters OS?
Im real stuck on ideas, and reformatting seems to be like the only way to fix this problem to me...
If anyone can help please post Thanks, cal.
