Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars (v1.06 / Normal)

Okay, I've installed the game and applied the 1.06 patch. I tried using a 1.06 crack for the .DAT file (HATRED, I think) and it just goes to a black screen, as if the game is going to load to the menu screen, and hangs. I have to reboot every time.

I've also tried loading the game by mounting the imagine in Daemon Tools in conjunction with YASU 1.3. Again, no luck. I just get errors.

Can anyone please help me? Surely someone has got the game running with 1.06?
