Can't open Daemond Tools

Ehe, I'm sure I opened a thread in another sub-forum, but anyway:


I've downloaded Daemon tools, but the problem is that it does nothing, it just sits there on my desktop and I can't get it to open no matter how many times I clicked it, including Right click, Open. I need to burn something onto a DVD, any suggestions?

1. Posting in the correct forum rulez,
2. the desktop icon actually just starts the tray GUI - do you see the tray icon?
3. You don't need Daemon Tools to write/burn anything; you should be able to write without Daemon Tools, but with a recording software of your choice. Or what exactly do you want to do?

I've got some instructions, and it says to 'Burn or Mount with Daemon Tools'. And since I can't even open the program I can't burn it.
