  • Problems with unmounting

    Hello,

I have a problem and I don't know how to fix it. I have downloaded a game (Civilization4) and installed it using Daemon Tools. Unfortunatly I did something wrong during the installation and I had to start al over again..... or so I thought.

The first thing I did was to delete Civilization4 from all directory's until in the end only the original download file remained. I then dit unrar again in a different directory as before and I mounted the newly unpacked image. The problem wich keeps occuring (and I really don't know anymore what to do) is that when I mount the image again the start screen of Civilization appears, the is fine, only it now keeps saying "play" instead of "install" as it did the first time.

I really don't know what to do to make sure that it shows me install and that I can install the game (this time good). I have tried everything: I have removed all files which were made exept the original download file in its existing folder, I then started from the beginning, which was unrar, then mounted the new image: Install. I have checked my computer for all files concerning Civ4 which could interfere, I am sure that there aren't any left (my computer is 2 days old, there's hardly anything on it yet). I have removed all icons from start, true, I couldn't uninstall the game, but I removed the files. I even cleared all my cookies and temporary internet files and I even deinstalled Daemon Tools and installed it again and choose the option to remove everything, nothing worked, it keeps saying install, so there is something, somewhere which keeps reminding Daemon Tools that it must keep saying "Install"instead of "Play".

I hope anyone can help me because I've run out of ideas,

    Thanks a lot already.
