wrong disc inserted

everytime i try to start my game it says wrong disc inserted. please insert cd/dvd. i did everything else right so what do i do?

what game?
what protection?
have you an image mounted or are you using the original disk and original exe?
if you've got an image mounted, how did you make the image? and what format is it in? (iso, mds/mdf etc..)
does the game have more than 1 disk?

i have this same problem ,
the game is
empire earth II
image is Iso file its all mounted
n i didnt make the image it already came that way from a torrent.
im thinking my cd rom drive does not support daemon tools ?
plz help
