  • The Sims 2 Bon Voyage & Free Time with DT Lite & YASU

    DT Version: DT Lite 4.12.3
    YASU Version: YASU 1.4.7080
Windows Version: Windows Vista Home Premium v.6.0.6001 (According to YASU Log)
    System Type: 32-bit Operating System

    Games trying to run:
    - The Sims 2 Bon Voyage
    - The Sims 2 Free Time

    Problem:
I bought an electronic copy of The Sims 2 Double Deluxe online using the EA Online Store and downloaded cloned versions of all the expansion packs. I installed all the expansion packs and it worked fine without using YASU until the Bon Voyage. When I ran a warning popped saying something similar to: Please use the original disk instead of a back up copy.

Then I thought of trying to install Free Time and hoped that DT will not be detected. I ran the game and got the same warning with Free Time as well. I tried running YASU as Admin as well but it didn't help. After a few tries, instead of getting the "Please use the original disk instead of a back up copy", I got a new warning: Conflict with Emulation Software detected.

Anyone have any idea on how to fix this problem?

well, in this case we can't help you with your problem.
If I understand you right it is so that you are a legal owner
of all Sims addons and apps due to the fact that you purchased
the sims deluxe edition. May I ask you why you then use
DAEMON Tools to mount downloaded images (If those images
are downloaded from EA directly, its fine, the problem is:
EA do not offer such images). While your intention is fine
(you are legal owner of the games you purchased), we cant
help you with downloaded material as this is not accepted
by our site-rules and DT's EULA forbid you to use DT together
with downloaded material except you got it from publisher
    itself.

Also, I do not see WHY you downloaded that images IF you
have purchased them via download-store. Shouldnt EA it-
self take care of it then that you can play your purchased
games? Since when you need an image of a downloaded
    game from EA's store?

Sorry if I request all this and sound a bit curious,
but all this sounds somehow a bit weird - or maybe I'm just
    too dumb to "get" you?
