  • Problem: Can't change files.

Alright, so today I downloaded and installed Daemon tools lite and I made a virtual drive of a game. The virtual drive is a music dvd and I can't change that setting and it automatically tries to start the game when I double click it. Can I make it in such a way that it will be a "all files dvd" and that I get to see those files instead of the game starting when I double click it? When I right click the virtual drive and click explore (I think it's that in english, I got a dutch windows XP, at least it's the second word from above) I get to see the files but I can't change things around, when I try copy something from one map on the virtual drive and then try to paste it in another map it tells me that I don't have the right to because the virtual drive is set to "read only". Can anyone help me out? I think I'm just overwatching something and that this is a really dumb question but I can't get to solve it.
    Please help me out.
    Greetings,
    Rieny.

If you edit the files on the DVD the copy protection is always ruined.

So before you start to change the original game disc, the question needs to be answered: is the game copy protected?

If yes what is the name of the game or what is the protection and version used?

Use UltraISO (only works if image isn't compressed) and delete autorun.inf (dvd has no autorun then anymore).
Make something idiot proof, but then they just make a better idiot

The game I'm talking about is Spiderman 3, it's a download so I don't have any original DVD. I suppose ultraISO is a program which I have to download first? I'll search it on google and try that, but I have no idea where to find this autorun.inf file. The file of which I make the virtual drive is a .iso file. So I think it's compressed, should I use PowerIso to unpack it first and then make a virtual drive of the whole map? I suppose I can't do anything right know because UltraIso works with none compressed files only according to your words. Please tell me if I need to unpack the file first or what else I need to do instead.
