  • all my games shut down without any notice.

All my games shut down without any notice. I can start the game by clicking on the icon, and I can go through the menu and sometimes also a demo, but when I'm about to play, it shuts down and returns to windows without telling me why... this happens in all my games....

At the same time, my daemon tool tells me: " Virtual scsi driver missing". I've tried to delete it and start over with a new daemon tool, and it works for a while, but then it tells me the same message. I don't know if this have any influence on my gameproblem....

If you know the reason why my games or daemontool does'nt work please tell me.... Thank you...

What do you mean? That Daemon Tools works fine and eventually stops working after some time!? Sounds as if you've some kind of virus fucking up your system, or some hardware related problem then.

      not a virus

I have norton antivirus fully updated and running.... but the main problem is the games... I don't think it is a virus, cause none of my other programs have problems... A friend of mine told me that it could be some kind a securitycode that they have placed on the games... But I don't think that is the problem....

Well, but this wouldn't explain the "Virtual SCSI driver missing" message.
Tell us some games you're talking about, so we know the protection - btw do you run those games from original cd or image, and if image, did you try from original cd yet?

          Not sure

I'm not sure I know what you mean with "image", but I run the games through the "cd" that I have downloaded. This I do with Daemon tool.
Some of the games do not need the cd, once they are installed.

If you mean "original" as if I bought it and that it is'nt a copy, I haven't tried that....

Some of the games are: Max Payne 2

          Age of mythology

          Curse the eye of Isis

          M t v Celeberaty deathmatch

..... and the list goes on...

That's exactly what I thought in the first place
