answer please?!

This has probably already been asked somewhere on this board, but i did not see anything..

I was just wondering, i downloaded a game, which came as an iso file, so i downloaded d-tools and mounted the image. I did that and installed the game and it ran completely fine that time.
The next time i tried running the game, i mounted the image and it auto ran to the game menu, which only said that i could install the game, even though i already have the game installed on my external hard drive. I dont know if it has anything to do with it being on my external hard drive or what..
