Image worked but a week later it doesn't - Starforce
Hello all.
I installed Lock-on Flaming Cliffs, which is protected by Starforce by mounting images in Daemon Tools LITE.
The images I downloaded them from torrentreactor.net and they worked flawless.
However, after moving around Hamachi networks, the Starforce protection got me saying that "I had changed hardware so I needed to proof the disc again", so I mounted the same image i've used in the 1st place and the game kept saying that "please insert a licensed disc".
I uninstalled everything, including starforce, erased registries, and dll files, and re-installed everything again and now on the first try I immediatly get "insert license disc". At least the 1st time I could use it for one week!
Is this normal? Did starforce registered my computer in their networks ? How can I overcome this ? I know the images are fine as I used them for the first time.
My system is MSI Gx620 laptop running windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.
