  • Please help! Mounting problems >.<

Im new to the world of mounting and recently I aquired some .bin and .iso files that i am trying to mount on the latest version of daemon tools but i dont understand what im doing wrong. I have ben reading instructions on what to do to the files i got and everyone on these forums keeps saying mount the image and install the program from the files and for example i got final fantasy VIII for the pc and when i add the image on daemon tools i see the nice image come up, then i mount this new icon and the installation menu for the game comes up and i hit install and a security prompt comes up, i hit accept and nothing happenss! I have trid this with two different final fantasy VIII files AND with a different game: The menu prompts for me to install, i hit install, security message, i hit accept, and nothing happens!!!

Can anyone please help me? Do i need an empty dvd in my disk drive to do this? am i using daemon tools wrong? please help!!

How did you create your images?

I opened daemon tools, chose the option add images, clicked the .cue file and the image popped up in the white space

Still the same question, how you created your images.

I dont really know if it IS an image or what that means in terms of computer files i got it in a package of files that i downloaded as a torrent for the game final fantasy VIII the files include all the disks and a folder named install disk which i was told to mount the file in that folder, the .cue file, so that is what i did i added that image and mounted it
