  • Can't open from short cut on desktop

    Operating System: XP Professional
    Burning Software: None
Anti-virus Software: none not connected up
    DAEMON Tools Version: 3.47

The program is in the desktop but nothing happens when double click. On task bar I can only unmount and device O : [E] listed
I can see virtual cd rom it has a letter attached. I can mount file when I see it in explorer. I did manage to load up a game but it asked for CD that it could not find. I can't get the Daemon tools trayicon?
    Thanks

So what now? The task bar icon is present or not?
Which game did you try from virtual drive, and how did you create the image (program and settings used)?

      won't open from desk top

Took it off and put it back on. It still does not work from desk top but I can now right click and Virtual cd, emulation, options etc on task bar. When I mounted I just did it by right clicking on the virtual CD and selecting mount. It was FIFA 2005. It all loaded onto hard drive but when run it asked for CD. May not have Emulation correctly set??
      Thanks.
PS may need more drink to get it right.

Desktop icon just starts task bar front end - so I don't know what you expect from desktop icon?
You don't need any emulation to play from mounted image, you just have to create the image correctly - so how did you create it (program and settings used)?

Thanks for info I thought it ran from shortcut.
The disc I obtained from outside source. I think it was Disc juggler. It has disk1.cdi, disk2.cdi. Image.
          Does that help.
          Thanks for Patience.
