Daemon destroit my Hard Drive

Anti-virus Software: Norton 2004
DAEMON Tools Version: 3.23

In middle of Daemon installation, my computer restarted and freezed in middle of start up, the computer did not detect my hard drive, so i tested it in another computer, no good :? ,
So Daemon killed my 300 gb hard drive, and the price of 300 gb hard drive is a RIPPOFF, I WANT NEW HARD DRIVE OR I'LL SEW U
