help it say unable to mount image because invalid file

this is my first time using daemon tool and after i dl it and install it and then it show up next to my clock the icon , then i right click on it, then choose virtual cd/dvd rom then device 0:[f:] no media and then choose mount image and locate where my file is and in there were 2 cd folder and each cd 1 and 2 there is just one files show up which are mds format the mdf format didn't show up , i click on cd folder 2 and open one mds file but it gave me unable to mount because invaild file,
so what do i do any setting i need to make to deamon tool or what, should i mount cd 1 first or cd 2 first

I'd say you have created your image incorrectly. I'd try to re-create the image(s) with Alcohol before trying anything else.
