DAEMON Tools Version: 3.47
This is really confusing.Today i bought a game from the market.It is "will of steel".I installed this game and it created an icon on the desktop, for game play.On double clicking this icon ,it would start searching for a CD.So having at least the basic knowledge of playing games,i went to the "crack" directory on the CD and copied the two files present there to my game directory,replacing the original ones.These files were,"game.exe" and "perun.dll".Now i again double clicked the game play icon on the desktop ,to be presented with the screen resolution and texture quality etc options.I had no option but to click on the "save and exit" tab.Now on again double clicking the game play icon on the desktop,nothing would happen.Just a blurpy sound and thats all.As i was very keen to play the game, i went on to the net and downloaded the "no CD patch",for will of steel.It was a compressed file and on extracting ,presented the same two files that i already had on my CD,s crack directory.Any how.I once again replaced the older crack files with the newly downloaded ones,to discover that i was still nowhere near a solution.The same blurpy sound and thats all.The .nfo file accompanying this newly downloaded crack had the following relevant information:
"1. Unrar.
2. Burn or mount with daemon tools.
3. Install the game
4. Copy over the cracked content located in the \crack directory on the cd
to \bin\WOS in your installation directory.
5. Play the game."
So i tried to give the daemon tools a try and quickly downloaded them.I admit that i have failed to understand what these tools are all about despite the detailed help file with the tools.As of now the game,as well as daemon tools are installed on my PC and i just cannot get any bit ahead of the stupefying blurps!!!!!!!!.My problem i guess is that my brain is just not getting to understand what these tools are.I request some one to guide me in a step by step fashion.I am sure that i will learn pretty well and soon.
