HELP - Installing a patch to Daemon installed game.

I d/l a game and loaded the bin & cue files by using Daemon Tools. Everthing ran o.k. after I copied the crack to the games file in Program Files on my :C drive.

I've now got a patch to install but when I click the .exe file it asks me to install the game again - because its installed on Daemon - does this mean its not possible to fit the patch or does someone know a way around this.
