  • Drive Letters assed up

    Operating System: Windows XP service pack 2
    Burning Software: (Not important)
    Anti-virus Software: (Not important)
    DAEMON Tools Version: Version 3.47

    Hi, I just recently (as in ten minutes ago) reinstalled Deamon Tools, and now all my drive letters have changed. I have three hard drives and four partitions, and two of the partitions have changed letters from E and F to H and I. This wouldn't normally be that much of a problem - just an inconvieniance, except I am torrenting quite a lot of data and the changing dirve letters has screwed those up.

    So my question is: How do I change my drive letters back again?

    You can change your driveletters manually:
    Start -> Run -> enter command diskmgmt.msc
    This opens the diskmanagement. Select the partition with the right mousebutton and choose change driveletters.

      Thanks! I've got it fixed now. I wouldn't have wanted to restart that 10 gig torrent of mine...
