  • Splitting huge monolitic image to parts?

Hi, Iam wondering do anybody know the way to split existing large mdf + mds into smaller chunks (mds + md0 + md1 + mds )? Of course I need to preserve existing information and topology.

I have huge image file that I want to move to other drive, but it have FAT32 here and I cannot move mdf that is larger then 4Gb.

You can split the mdf/mds files in Alcohol when you create them, but I don't think that you can split them when you allready have created them.
But what you can do is to make splited RAR files of your image.

Just re-create the image with Alcohol and select splitting.

Unfortunately, I accidently broke the original DVD long ago, and now this backup the only thing left.

I wanted to use it from FAT drive, thats why multi-volume archiving won't do.
