Hey,
I recently installed a game to my computer from dvd. The image that i installed was mds/mdf and the program that i used was of course daemon tools. Everything went just fine.
However, now I tried to install it to my friends computer (from the same dvd), and daemon just keep telling that "Unable to mount image. File not accessible". First I tried to mount the image direct from the dvd, didn't work. I also copied the files to harddrive, but still the same error (there were no errors during copy). I don't get it, the file is same, dvd works still fine, only thing that differs is computer.
I haven't tried anything else yet. I will try to open the same file with alcohol, and I'll also try different images with daemon, but if those won't help, do you have any suggestions? Could it be possible if my friend has too old version of daemon?
