Civilizations 4 patch

i don't know if it's a problem af daemon tools, but i installed civ4 with it so it might be... anyways i downloaded the patch and when i try to install it i get an error, which says: "The setup has detected thet no version of Sid Meier's Civilizations 4 is intalled. This update requires that a previous version of the application be installed."

How did you create the image you installed Civ4 from?

i didn't i just downloaded the image from ftp and mounted it with daemon tools

maybe u downloaded the wrong patch (for the wrong lang) or u use a nocd crack and the setup verifies the .exe...
