I've finally figured it out, I think its some sort of copyright feature built in so that you cannot play backup CD's. I found a way of play my backup of Warcraft 3. You need to dowload a NO-CD patch from the following site http://www.gameburnworld.com/gp/game...ignofchaos.htm then place overwrite these files with the files orginaly on the hard drive. This should hopefully then allow you to play the game.
