Assistance with Knights of the old republic 2: "Insert CD/DVD"

I tried creating a post earlier, but it seems that it havn't been posted for some strange reason.


I've been trying to solve my problem through the search engine, and also through manual labor =) I decided I would have to make a thread to solve my pretty simple issue.

I tried posting in the "Common Problems and Solutions " but it wouldn't let me so I decided to try out my luck here.

And now the problem:

I have recently installed Knights of the old republic 2 on my computer through the use of Daemon tools. I ran each of the 4 CDs (.bin) with Daemon tools, and everything installed succesfully. I updated the game, and did some configurations without any trouble either.

However, when I try to run the game I get this quite odd failure message. Reading:

"Wrong disc inserted.
Please insert the CD/DVD"

Everything seems to be installed correct, and I run the play CD with Daemon tools. I've read some other threads which seemed to be close to my problem, but it didn't turn out very well ^^

I very much hope for an answer, and look forward to playing Kotor2 =)

Knights of the old republic 2 protection:
SecuROM 5.03.13.0018 only cd1, cd2-4 no protection

If you have a good image then mount CD1 and all you have to do normaly for this kind of protection is to enable SecuRom emulation. I usualy have all emulations enabled and don't have any problems.
