I had tried everything listed in every post I could possibly find. Worked on this for over 3 hours searching and trying every thread. Here is what finally worked and you do not need anything but Daemon tools to use it.
Forget SR7Stop and CureROM and antisecurerom.
Reloaded has put up a crack for the DVD version (2.1 gig mount).
Here are the simple instructions from their nfo file.
"1. Unrar.
2. Burn or mount with Daemon Tools.
3. Install the game.
4. Run update. If patch doesnt want to start from the crack dir, copy it to
your hdd and start from there
5. Copy over the cracked files to your install dir.
6. Play the game."
All it is, is a fixed exe and a dll.
I found it on alt.binaries.cd.image
in a file called "Here's Repack SWEaW crack and update .. Yes working"
The package included the official update to version 1.02 of the game as well. All in one package.

No problems running at all on the dvd mount.
