Missing edit links?

I'm not sure if this is the best place to post it, but its kinda a site problem, albeit with the forum, and not the homepage.

I have 2 posts in that thread, one I have an edit button showing up on, and the other I dont. And whats really odd is that I edited the one with the missing edit button a few mins before it dissapeared.

You can only edit during 10/20 minutes or so after posting.

This is the way it was on the old phpbb forum DAEMON Tools used before. I don't know who made the change, but I kind of prefer it this way.
