Dear Daemon-Community,

as most of you surely noticed, some things changed at our portal lately.


We're proud to announce the soon-to-be-released next version of Daemon-Tools.
Within the next days/week(s), we will release a new standard-version of Daemon-
Tools, which contains alot of changes not only in internal DT-design but
also in the ScsiPassThrough-driver (SPTD).

Another change affects our license-model:

today ends the lifetime-support for NEW customers/ NEW licenses. What does that mean?

- a license is not valid anymore for DT Pro.
- DT Pro-license will be sold separately soon.
- The DT Pro support-lifecycle (updates) for a license is one year after
purchase (registration) of DT Pro
- The DT support-lifecycle (updates) for a license is one year after
purchase (registration) of DT

Note: These changes only affect licenses bought after the date of this
announcement. All licenses bought before Sept 03 2006 are not affected
by these changes.

Also a short notice to the registrations: We reopened them,
please do not abuse your accounts!
