Mounting image , but it wont load :S

It all started when I Installed the Windows Xp Professional , it worked on the home edition :S.... I mounting an image but the game wont aouto run / load ... even if i go to " My Computer " and right click and use " Open " then most of the files but some are wierd , they dont even take any space on the drive ( 0KB ) when i dubble click the setup form there it just stands " Windows cannot access the specified device , path , or file. You may not have the appropirate permission to access the item"

Is this a legal copy of XP....if it's cracked, that could be your whole problem.
