Downloaded v4.08HE today for my x64 XP Professional AMD Dual Core 4200+ today. I have the dual core optimizer and all other necessary drivers.
The problem started happening today, when I installed this new version. I didn't have this problem with older versions of Daemon Tools, but now I get a blank screen AFTER the XP loading logo disappears. In other words, the screen goes pitch black right when the Windows Login GUI is supposed to appear. I have to let that happen every time, and then wait until the "Windows did not boot properly" error so I can select "Use last settings that worked" in order to get it working.
I know for sure the problem is being caused by Daemon Tools v4.08HE. Please release patch or I will die.
Also, is it possible to set SPTD to run on demand instead of on boot? I have the option to set it like that, as seen in this picture:
Would it function if I do that?
