Problem installing new version

I am trying to install version 4.08 and right when i press "accept" to the agreements an error comes up saying "System file write error." I do not have a previous version of daemon tools and im running XP.

Have you run a antivirus-program?
When yes, disable the auto protection.

Problem stalling deamon 4 on XP

When ever I try to install Deamon 4 on Xp it gives error message and fails to install have tried disabling antivirus also , but it does not work.

I've got the same error. Just tried to install 4.08 (currently have 4.03 installed). Do I have to completely uninstall 4.03 prior? Figured the installer would do that if needed.
