Problems with images on ICH9R RAID
I've detected similar problem on following systems:
MB: Gigabyte P965DS4
RAID 01
CPU C2D
DT: 4.10
MB: Gigabyte P35DS4
RAID 1
CPU C2D
DT: 4.10 Pro
MB: Gigabyte P35DS4
RAID 5
CPU Quad
DT: 4.10
Some images are mounted without problems, but when trying to mount miniimage (20MB->6GB) DT freezes and after few seconds WXP SP2 freeze as well. There is no major CPU or Memory consumption increase before freeze.
Mounting image from disc other than RAID (USB, Network, ...) does help and miniimage is mounted in a second.
On computer without ICH9 there is no problem to mount that image.
Any news on fixing this nasty prob?

I'm having similar problems (frequent freezes when IDE virtual drive enabled, frequent freezes on some of the cd images) on my laptop.
Toshiba A200-1MA (ICH8something southbridge (Santa Rosa platform))
Vista Business
DT 4.10 pro
Is there any other cd/dvd emulator that can emulate an IDE drive? I need something until the bug'll be fixed.

Experiencing Same Problems
iIm confirming the problems also.
My Rig:
Asus P5K3 deluxe Bios 0604
Intel Quad Core Q6600 @ 3.6Ghz
2x 1G Kingston DDR3 1375MHZ
1x Ati Radeon HD 2900xt 1024Meg DDR4 Mem @ 2100Mhz Core @ 850Mhz
4x 160Go 2x Raid 1 (Dual Boot WinXP and Vista Ultimate)
2x Raid 0 (Game and Image Drive)
Im running Windows XP sp2, WIth Deamon Tool Pro Advanced4.10.0.218 with SPTD 1.50
My Images are located on a Logical Volume in Raid 0 on a Intel Raid Matrix Controller (Intel(R) ICH8R/ICH9R SATA RAID Controlor Driver Version 7.6.0.1011)
So far all image are working.. except one.. Which makes my computer lockup instantanously when ever i mount this image in a Virtual IDE CDrom Drive.
Here's a Temporary Work Around..
I've Place the image (The Witcher) on a external USB Drive / Network Drive and mounted it and it passed without locking my computer.
i Hope this might Help Others while the Developpement Team at Deamon Tool can find the problem
Best Regards..
