  • DT is not Vista 64 compatible - use local administrator account...

    Hi,

I searched the forums for this but it didn't return any threads.
I think DT isn't working with Vista 64 ultimate.

DT were installed without any errors but if I try to start DT and everytime I start up Vista and logon it tells me

"Please use a local administrator account to run Deamon Tools the first time!"

There is only ONE user in the system and this one is of course an administrator.
    What can I do?

    Greetings

    Disable UAC. Nobody need it.

Or right-click on the shortcut or main executable for DTools and select "Run as administrator". This is normal for Vista, because accounts are limited by default with UAC enabled.
