  • Windows Vista problems

    System: Windows Vista Ultimate 32bit
    Daemon Tools ver: 4.10 - x86
Problem: Unable to install Virtual Driver
    Other Imagedrvies/burners/etc: None
    Antivir: Nod32
    Firewall: Jetico Personal Firewall
Hello, it took me more than an hour to read through the topics listed here (i used specific filters, of course), tried some things out that i understood, but still no success
After installing DT on Vista (inst and uninst has no problems), i get the already mentioned "Registry Access Error" box and after that the "SCSI Driver not detected" one too.
    so far i tried:
    - I have the UAC disabled, and logging in as admin
    - (re)installing Sptd
    - looking for SCSI/Raid driver disabling and enabling again (as someone mentioned)
Any help would be highly appreciated (i'm not expert @ vista, i need foolproof explanations )

Have you tried to install sptd with firewall and AV shut down? (HIPS shall be shut either).

You should not have to be logged as admin, just use an account which is part of admin group...
