First this should have been posted in the Alcohol Forums. Second, Alcohol has been compatible with Vista for many versions now. Either you have some other driver or software that caused a conflict with Alcohol (or potentially vice-versa), or you actually installed the 1.9.5.3105 version that was strictly for Win9x users.
