OK I've been experiencing this problem also, but I'm not sure if the problem lies with ATI drivers.

Copying/running files from mounted image when playing DVD or any media files causes my PC to freeze therefore requiring reset. I'm using 1.62 STPD latest DT Lite.

We have one strange report about system freeze. User reported that his system freezes right after ISO mounting.
And this problem disappeared after ATI drivers downgrade from 9.10 version to 9.3

I use DAEMON Tools Pro 4.35.0308 ide mode to watch DVD, up to now no freeze crash.
But with the way scsi mode Still occurs freeze crash.
Will the ide mode in response to ati-driven approach is designed to do?
