Hello

when I try to check for updates for D-Tools Pro Advanced this error keeps popping up


network settings are OK, no proxy, Windows 7 x64
firewall and AV turned off, still same error

any ideas?

forgot to mention a few things

D-Tools version: 4.41.0315
STPD: 1.79
Burning software: Infra Recorder 0.52 x64
AV: Avira Internet Security 2012

Firstly, make sure that previous DAEMON Tools installation completely removed. There should be no "DAEMON Tools Pro" folder in "C:\Program Files (x86)\" (or another path you might use to install DAEMON Tools).
Also you can remove the following keys from your registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\DT Soft\DAEMON Tools Pro
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\DT Soft\DAEMON Tools Image Editor
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\DT Soft\DAEMON Tools Pro

Then check the problem. If you still get the same error, try to follow this article.
