ESET Endpoint Antivirus 5 and Daemon Tools Lite/Pro/Advanced (latest)
Hello!
I noticed a problem with Daemon Tools and ESET Endpoint Antivirus 5:
The new feature "Media Control" installs an upper filter named "edevmon.sys" (found it through the helpful tool "devfilter.exe" (Filter Driver Load Order from bustrace.com)).
This filter driver prevents Daemon Tools to load images (it hangs or doesn't load anything).
Workaround:
After disabling "Media Control" in ESET config and restarted Windows, the filter driver disappeared and Daemon Tools works as it should do.
Maybe you can find a right solution for working with both.
