DT Pro Advanced 5.4, Windows 8.1 Enterprise 64 - Attach to Physical device grayed out

In "device parameters..." of SCSI or IDE virtual drive, the option "attach to physical device" is greyed out !!!
This is a clean install of Windows 8.1 Enterprise 64, no upgrade.

No problem with DT Pro Advanced 5.3 + Windows 8 Enterprise 64.

Exactly the same here though I am running DT Pro 6.2 on Widnows 10
I was struggling the SPTD driver compatibility a lot to get SCSI and IDE virtual drives work in W10 only to find out that the only purpose (attaching them to physical device) does not actually work as it's greyed out. Hey good job DT on detecting the physical drive and then telling me there is none to attach to.

Please explain.
